HIDROSOL is a low viscosity black asphalt liquid, made with solvent
refined bitumen particles that are easily evaporated. It contains a big
amount of solids.
Uses
- As a primer or pore covering that gives a great adhesiveness in waterproof
systems made with VAPORQUIM, FLEXOL SR, UNIPLAS and QUIMLAR. - To waterproof
pump dales, counter beams, asbestos-cement surfaces, wood, etc. - As
a single waterproofer for retaining adjoining walls. - As a primer for
sealers like BITUPLASTIC AT or BITUPLASTIC N, CEMLASTIQ, ELASTOBIT RH,
GASOLASTIC, etc. Benefits
- Due to its high penetration power in open pore elements, HIDROSOL allows
performing waterproof jobs, even during the rain season.- You don’t
have to heat it to apply it .- It is easy to apply. - It can be dissolved
in gasoline or thinner.
How to use it
The surface must be dry, clean and free of dust, grease, oils and detached
material.a) AS A SURFACE PRIMER: We recommend dissolving HIDROSOL in the
following proportion: two portions of gasoline or thinner and one portion
of primer. Apply it with a paintbrush, brush, broom or pump sprayer. Try
to cover the whole surface.b) AS A SINGLE WATERPROOFER: Apply not dissolved
HIDROSOL with a paintbrush, trying to cover the whole surface.
Recomendations
- Do not apply the material on wet surfaces, because this will avoid a
proper bond.- Do not apply HIDROSOL in places with poor ventilation or
with any nearby flames or sparks. Dosage
- As a primer or pore covering: 6 square meters per liter. (Dissolved
in gasoline or thinner in a proportion of 2:1).- As a single waterproofer:
2 to 3 square meters per liter. (not dissolved).
